The first game was a learning experience for all. The young Buckeyes learned a few things they needed to work on, and the rest of the league learned who the team to beat was. A 20 - 0 victory wasn't a bad way to start the season.

On this day the Irish seemed to have our number with some tricky play counts, but in the end of the day, the Buckeyes were able to adapt and overcome for the 20 - 0 victory.
Buckeyes vs Spartans
The Buckeyes faced their first real challange today. After having a 93-yard touchdown run called back, the team tied it at 6 apiece. A last chance at the goal-line didn't pan out for us, but the boys learned a great deal today and showed grit in this one.

The Rams were a faster team than any that the Buckeyes faced this season and caught us off guard. A 20 - 8 loss is one this team won't forget when the playoffs arrive.
Buckeyes vs Green Run Spartans
The Buckeyes completely dominated on the defensive side of the ball in this victory. The boys showed character in bouncing back after their first loss for a convincing 20 - 0 win.
Buckeyes vs Kempsville Chiefs
This was one of the coldest days on the football field this season for the buckeyes. We faced a team that ran just a few plays, but ran them very well. Our defense continued its stellar play, but our offense just couldn't get it rolling and we came away with another 6 - 6 tie ball game.
Buckeyes vs Kempsville Lions
With Dante not feeling 100%, a few other buckeyes were forced to step it up and fill the gap. Fortunately, they did just that. Christian Randolph and his best defensive game this season with at least 5 tackles. Graham ran a quarterback sneak for 40 yards and a score and also connected with David Bylar for the extra point. Our defense continued its stellar play shutting out the Lions for the 8 - 0 victory.
Buckeyes vs Salem Vikings
The Buckeye offense got rolling quickly in this convincing win that saw three touchdowns in the first half. as usual, the defense continued its dominance and allowed very few yards and only one score.
